For the last few years I've worked for the Civil Aviation Authority, working on
the migration of pdf licensing to online avoka forms, on the drones team contributing
the deactivations and renewals of licenses using C# dotnet razor pages, to finally
being on a small team that upgraded more privileged drones licenses - improving
processing times of 6 months to about 17 minutes!
Having worked on the privileged licensing application from conception, I have experience doing:
- React.js Component building from scratch (using Storybook)
- Unit testing with jest and visual testing with chromatic
- Collaborating with designers as needs change
- Automation testing with selenium
- Building APIs (for this specific project we had one to communicate with Dynamics, Authentication and the legacy dotnet solution)
- Lots of User Acceptance Testing
- Some Azure Kubernetes experience, looking at logs and container health
- C# ASP.NET MVC fullstack experience, including EF Migrations and implementing new application flows
